Clinical features
MEN IIB differs from the more common MEN IIA by the earlier onset of symptoms.
The features of MEN IIB consist of:
- medullary carcinoma of the thyroid
- phaeochromocytoma
- mucosal neuromata of the lips, eyelids and tongue
- ganglioneuromatosis of the bowel
- marfanoid habitus
- proximal myopathy
