Yellow nails
Causes include:
- chronic smoking
- yellow nail syndrome - yellow nails are found in association with peripheral lymphoedema
- a complication of prolonged drug therapy e.g. with tetracycline
- the nail may have a yellow tinge in patients with jaundice or AIDS
