Scleroderma sine scleroderma
This is an unusual form of systemic sclerosis which is characterised by:
- Raynaud's phenomenon
- pulmonary fibrosis
- renal failure
- cardiac fibrosis
- gastrointestinal fibrosis
There is little skin involvement.
Immunological investigation may reveal:
- anti-Scl 70 antibody
- anti-centromere antibody
- anti-nucleolus antibody
