Oral injury when child maltreatment should be considered
- child maltreatment should be considered if a child has an oral injury and the explanation is absent or unsuitable
- for the purposes of this guideline, NICE state that to consider child maltreatment means that maltreatment is one possible explanation for the alerting feature or is included in the differential diagnosis
