Neoplasia
Neoplasia of the nails may manifest as:
- peri-ungual warts
- peri-ungual fibroma: in those with tuberous sclerosis
- glomus tumour: painful to touch and with change in ambient temperature; surgially-excised
- subungual exostoses: usually secondary to bone trauma; surgically-excised
- malignant melanoma
