Signs of right heart failure
The signs of right heart failure include:
- raised JVP:
- may be functional tricuspid incompetence due to stretched AV ring

- hepatomegaly with mild jaundice
- pitting oedema
- ascites
- pleural effusion
- oliguria by day and nocturia:
- urine is concentrated and albuminuria is common)
