Cautions include:

  • breast-feeding
  • hepatic impairment - avoid intravenous use
  • may cause photosensitivity

Contra-indications:

  • AVOID IN CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE
  • pregnancy
  • systemic lupus erythematosis
  • porphyria

Routes of administration:
